Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry ChildWhile listening to music, R and I either are reminded of other songs, or try to make a connection to other songs as well as what bands they seem to sound like to us.
I have heard Cash Cash's song Take Me Home (ft. Bebe Rexha) on the radio over and over again back when it first got pretty big, and well we all know how radio's like to overplay every song that does well. Something about this song made me think of Swedish House Mafia, and more specifically their song Don't You Worry Child. After listening to both back to back I feel that they are kind of similar, at least I had satisfied in my mind what was making me think of that song.
In Cash Cash's Take Me Home, the breakdown at about 1:15 seconds in reminds me of Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child, mostly when it hits 1:35 in.
Since making this connection I can't hear one song without hearing the other in the back of my mind. R doesn't really agree with me on this one, he says eh, kind of, but I can tell he doesn't hear the similarities that I hear.
