While listening to music, R and I either are reminded of other songs, or try to make a connection to other songs as well as what bands they seem to sound like to us. 

I used to play Shiny Toy Guns' version of Major Tom over and over again while hanging out alone in my room at times, I just let myself get absorbed into the sound. It has always been my favorite version, and I'm sure there are many out there who would scoff at that, but I really love this version, a lot. 

While listening to Twenty One Pilots, who was a discovery of R's a year or more ago now and we have been obsessed with them since, their song Lovely came on the youtube playlist I was listening to, and it happens to be one of the few Twenty One Pilots songs I am not completely familiar with from beginning to end. So during the breakdown of the song Lovely, at around 2:58 in, it sounded familiar, and then instantly reminded me of Shiny Toy Guns' Major Tom, towards the end of the song at around 3:35 in. 

Now I find myself listening to these songs together because each one makes me want to listen to the other.
